Mycteria americana {47/365}

There's definitely plenty of fauna to be found down here in the Sunshine State.  This beauty with the bright white feathers is a Wood Stork (Mycteria americana).  The Wood Stork is the only stork that presently breeds in North America and there is only a small breeding population in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.   But, down in Brazil, their populations are slowly coming back. Caught this one wading around a small swampy pool, his favored surroundings, in search of a little snack.
