Warm and Cool {91/365}

Working on some lighting ideas/scenarios today for some personal projects coming up.  I decided my studio shots needed a little bit of something.  Seemless backdrops are great, but they can get boring after a while. I also wanted to try introducing some color tricks into my repertoire.

My main light is my mola beauty dish and it was fitted with 4 layers of CTO gels.  The trim light is a reflector with no gels.  For the background, I used a squirt bottle  for a little bit of texture.  :)

I balanced my camera to the Tungsten light mode.  This toned down the CTO gels on the light and cooled down the white light of the trim.  End result being a warm light as my key and a cool light as my secondary.
