The more naked the light is, the harder it becomes.

I worked with a single strobe to create this shot.  I wanted the shadows harsh and deep, so I used a bare bulb.  This way the crumbs are easily distinguished, and the shape of the bowl and shadow create an interesting design element to the photo.
