The Coming Snow {5/365}

With the news of the coming snow, I decided to get some fresh air and stretch my legs. Wandering around the deserted Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA one could almost taste the pending snowfall.  I was in the middle of a city, but my surroundings felt isolated.  Up above, the sky was heavy and intimidating.

I stepped out of my usual style with this one; I wanted to convey the feeling of the place.  Use of negative space lent to the feeling of the sky subordinating the sun and the land.

[Technical Note: A little single file HDR was thrown in to bring out some details of the grass.]
